
Dental caries (tooth decay) remain the single most common disease of childhood. Despite this, dental health is too often ignored by parents, communities and doctors. This web page will examine the "silent epidemic" of oral diseases which mainly afflict minorities and low-income Americans even as most of the nation benefits from healthier teeth and gums.
